A Sculptural Stance: Axial Rotating Pivot Facade Panels

Pivot panels go beyond conventional opening methods, rotating around their own axis (vertical or horizontal) to open. This movement adds an exceptionally modern, sophisticated, and sculptural character to the facade. SACCIO Pivot Systems are equipped with advanced pivot hinges that allow even large and heavy panels to be operated effortlessly—often with just a fingertip.

When opened, the panels rotate to a 90-degree position perpendicular to the facade, acting like vertical fins that allow airflow in while blocking direct sunlight. This system creates a rhythmic “open–closed” pattern across the building envelope, freeing the architecture from monotony. Typically manufactured with perforated metal or expanded mesh infill, pivot wings offer a segmented, framed view when looking from the inside out.
