3D Lattice Facade Systems

Depth and Layering: Three-Dimensional Lattice (Structural) Facades

3D lattice facades are structural systems applied as a second layer, detached from the building’s existing surface. Typically formed from aluminum or steel tubes/profiles using a space-frame logic, these structures wrap around the building and give it a sculptural volume.

These systems are frequently used for visual screening, especially in the renovation of older buildings or in parking structures. Because the lattice framework allows climbing plants such as ivy to grow, it also serves as an excellent substructure for “green facade” applications. SACCIO engineering modularizes these complex node connections, enabling fast and efficient installation.
